Build Summary 

SoCo Customs doesn’t only work on trucks and equipment movers, but we also work on the people movers. This 2021 Cadillac Escalade ESV came into the shop and had a specific build in mind. The problem was that there are very few kits out there that are compatible with the factory air suspension. 

SoCo Customs sourced some extended air-shut off arms that would allow us to trick the air system. The system has 4 settings already; the lowest setting which is where it squats to make it easier for passengers to get in, the efficiency setting that hunkers this SUV down to cut through the air at highway speeds better, normal ride height, and an off-road setting that will lift the vehicle up 2” from the normal ride height. We adjusted these new arms to make the normal ride height be more like the off-road height. 

This customer wanted to stick with the 22” wheel look and opted for the Vossen HF6-5 in all black. These are a 22x9.5 and the offset isn’t aggressive enough to push these wheels outside the fenders. 

You probably recognize the Vossen name if you have ever been into the car scene! They have so many fitments for the high end car game and have recently been diving head first into the 6 lug and 8 lug fitments. Whether you are looking for a clean set of 22s for your lowered SUV, or stance and a particular offset to fit a lifted truck, Vossen has you covered and we could not be more excited to see the black wheels on this white Cadillac. Vossen did not skip a beat here. These wheels are still Hybrid Forged which is something Vossen is known for. This forging process allows these wheels to be lighter while still remaining strong like you can expect from a forged wheel setup. 

This lift kit set-up allowed us to clear the 285/55R22 Nitto Recon Grapplers. For those converting to bald eagles, this is a 34.3 inch tall by 11.2 inch wide. I would venture a guess that some of your 35” all terrain tires on the market would actually measure out closer to a 34.5. That is pretty incredible for this kit to be able to fit nearly a 35” tires.
