Build Summary
We are getting very well acquainted with the 2024 GMC Sierra HD trucks as of late. For all intents and purposes, it is the same truck as the outgoing 2020-2023 model. GMC and Chevy gave their heavy duty trucks a facelift and a whole host of comfort and technology upgrades for the interior. I am a big fan of the changes that were made to the interior, but it seems the frame, suspension, engine etc. remain mostly unchanged. Most lift kits will have the same parts numbers for these trucks from 2020-2024.
We started off by lifting this truck 5" on the torsion drop kit from Rough Country. The customer opted to start off with the N3 shocks, but when the time comes to update/maintain/upgrade, there will be a whole host of shock options that will bolt straight up to the truck with minimal hassle. This customer can stick with the twin-tube N3 shocks, upgrade to the new M1 Monotubes, or go all-out and upgrade to the Vertex remote reservoir shocks.
The customer chose chrome wheels to match up to all of the traditional chrome that is on this Denali trim. This wheel is the 22x10 Fuel Runner Chrome. The offset is a -18mm and provides a few inches of "poke" outside of the fenders.
We have been big fans of the Toyo Open Country Toyo Open Country RT Trail for these GM Heavy Duty trucks. This truck is outfitted with the 35x12.50R22 size of those Open Country Trails.
We finished off this build with new body color matched wheel arches. When looking for a paint shop make sure they are in the know about GM Paint colors. GM has a few different variations of white that they are putting on trucks.
