2. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
- Contact information: name, phone number, email address, and physical address.
- Vehicle information: make, model, year, VIN, mileage, license plate, modifications, and service history.
- Service information: the work you request, your build preferences, budget, and timeline.
- Payment information: payment is processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Communications: anything you tell us by phone, text, email, Facebook Messenger, contact form, or in person.
Information collected automatically when you visit our Site
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on pages, clicks, and similar activity.
- Cookies and similar technologies: small data files stored in your browser. See Section 7 for details.
Information from third parties
- Advertising and analytics partners: Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager) and Meta (Facebook Pixel) provide us with aggregated data about ad performance and Site activity.
- Service providers: our text and email platform (Go High Level) provides delivery and engagement data.
- Public sources: publicly available information and reviews you post on Google, Facebook, or similar platforms.
3. How We Use Information

- Respond to your inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide quotes.
- Perform requested services on your vehicle.
- Process payments, deposits, and refunds.
- Send appointment reminders, build status updates, invoices, and other transactional messages by text and email.
- Send marketing messages, promotions, discount codes, and newsletters by text and email — only to people who have opted in.
- Place return calls to people who have opted in or requested contact. We do not make cold calls.
- Operate, secure, and improve our Site and services.
- Measure and improve the performance of our advertising on Google, Facebook, and other platforms.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Use photos and videos of completed builds for marketing, social media, and portfolio purposes (see our Terms of Service for the photo/media release).
4. SMS / Text Message Program
Consent and program description
When you provide your phone number through our website, in person, or by text, and consent to our SMS program, you authorize SoCo Customs Corp to send you marketing, promotional, and transactional text messages — and to call you at that number — including by automated technology. Message types may include appointment reminders, build status updates, discount codes, special offers, and promotions.
Frequency, cost, and carrier disclaimer
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier's standard rates apply to all messages.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt-out and help
- Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further marketing or transactional texts to that number.

- Opting out of texts does not opt you out of email or other communications. To opt out of all communications, contact us using the information in Section 13.
No sharing of phone numbers or SMS consent
We do not share your mobile phone number or your SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers and SMS consent are used only by SoCo Customs Corp and our service providers acting on our behalf to deliver messages.
Consent is not a condition of purchase
You are not required to consent to receive marketing or transactional texts as a condition of purchasing any product or service.
5. Email Communications
We send transactional emails (receipts, appointment confirmations, build updates, service follow-ups) and, to people who have opted in, marketing emails (promotions, newsletters, special offers).
Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also email us using the contact information in Section 13 to opt out. Transactional emails about an active service or appointment may continue after you unsubscribe from marketing.
6. Phone Calls and Call Recording
We record incoming and outgoing phone calls for quality assurance, training, dispute resolution, and to maintain accurate records of work authorized by our customers.
Colorado is a one-party consent state (C.R.S. § 18-9-303) and we consent to recording our own calls. If you call us, by continuing the call after this disclosure (which we may also state at the beginning of the call), you consent to the call being recorded. If you do not consent to recording, please end the call and contact us in person, by text, or by email.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, and similar technologies to operate our Site, analyze traffic, and deliver advertising.
Categories of technologies we use
- Strictly necessary: required for the Site to function (e.g., security, form submission).
- Analytics: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
- Advertising: Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel help us measure ad performance and show ads on Google, Facebook, and Instagram to people who have shown interest in our services.

8. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below:
- Service providers: companies that run services on our behalf, including Go High Level (CRM, SMS, and email), Google (analytics and advertising), Meta (advertising and pixel), our payment processor, hosting providers, and similar vendors. They may use the data only to provide services to us.
- Advertising partners: when you visit our Site, third-party advertising and analytics partners may receive limited information (e.g., cookie identifiers, IP address, pages viewed) to measure ad performance and serve relevant ads. Under Colorado law, this activity may qualify as "targeted advertising," and you have the right to opt out. See Section 9.
- Legal compliance: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
- With your consent: for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information.

10. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Lead and inquiry data (people who contacted us but did not become customers): up to 3 years from your last interaction.
- Customer service records (invoices, work orders, warranty records): up to 7 years to support tax, warranty, and legal obligations.
- Marketing opt-in and opt-out records: for as long as you remain on our list and at least 5 years after you opt out, to honor and prove the opt-out.
- Call recordings: up to 2 years unless tied to an active matter.
- Website analytics and advertising data: retained according to our service providers' default retention settings (typically 14–26 months for Google Analytics and Meta).
We may keep information longer when required by law or to resolve disputes.
11. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is 100% secure. If we learn of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by Colorado law (C.R.S. § 6-1-716) and other applicable laws.
12. Children's Privacy
Our Site and services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Site may contain links to third-party sites and services (for example, Facebook Messenger or Google Maps). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their privacy policies before using them.
