Build Summary
We always thought that the GMC Denali line-up was the absolute nicest trim that GMC could muster up; but we were very wrong. This year, they dropped the Denali Ultimate Package for the model year 2024 and it is the ultimate in luxury. The creature comforts are on-par with the best offerings of the European Luxury brands.
This is the top-of-the-line trim level, but it was missing something; the stance you would want for a bad ass truck like this! Although these trucks received a front end refresh and interior upgrades for 2024, the underside and underlying parts are very much the same. The same part numbers for the 2020+ GMC Sierra 2500 kit bolted right up.
This kit is the 5” Lift kit from Zone Off-Road with the torsion bar drops. This standard kit comes with the Zone branded twin tube shocks, but the customer wanted this ride dialed in more like a monotube would. Due to what we could source the fastest, and the best quality we could get; we opted to get the Rough Country V2 Monotube shocks. I would put this shock up against any monotube/IFP shock in this space.
We wanted a lot of wheel but did not want to throw these tires too far out of the fenders. We opted for the 22x10 TIS 547 in the black and milled coloration, and the tires are the Toyo Open Country RT Trail. These are a refresh of the Open Country RT that has been extremely popular among truck builders that wanted a perfect inbetween of a mud tire and an all terrain tire. The new Open Country RT Trail has the same 45,000 mile warranty that its predecessor has.

Note: The 2024 GMC Sierra Heavy Duty only refreshed the interior and the front end. Kits for the 2020-2023 models will fit the 2024.
